I am Glenna with my own special stories to tell. Believe me I could bend your ear and talk for hours and have some pretty hilarious tales to tell. However, I just want to tell you that I really am much more interested in your stories! Every person is so unique and their life stories really are fascinating.

Just so you will know a little about me, I will tell you that I am the youngest in a family of eight (seven girls and one boy). My mom had to be a saint to put up with all of us and our shenanigans. I really don’t know how she did it! Boy, did I learn a lot about family dynamics before I ever had my training as a therapist!

My son, Doug Coffey and his wife, Nancy reside in North Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Doug is accomplished in so many areas of his life, so naturally creative, and is the owner of Coffey Construction. Nancy is a very fine accountant. They love their precious little animals and all the wildlife that surrounds them!

My younger son, Rob lives with the Lord in Heaven. He was in a car accident at the age of 27. We all miss him so much and are looking forward to that great reunion in the sky!

I attended a junior college at first to become a court reporter. Then changed to the study of Psychology. My Masters was a specialty field in Marriage and Family Therapy. I really liked what I was doing and wanted to jump right into my career! My first job was as psych Tech on the Psychiatric Unit in relatively small hospital. I later became the unit’s Family Therapist. I stayed almost four years there until I went into private practice.

I have been so fortunate and loved what I  was doing.  Now I am pursuing my lifetime passion of presenting County Gospel Music!
